Opening Reception on 26.05.2010 The successful start of the EMSP Congress 2010 took place on invitation of the Prime Minister of the State the Baden-Württemberg. The marble hall of the New Castle of Stuttgart, basically used for state receptions offered a marvellous scenery for this event.

“Believe in yourself & Live your dreams” the message of a wonderful women. The Annual Congress opened with Lori Schneider’s amazing speech which deeply touched all hearts. Men and women – no exception – were moved to tears at the end of her speech.
On day one 6 speakers – Peter Flachenecker, MD, Marianne Nabe Nielsen, Päivi Hämäläinen, PhD, Adam Michel, Roberta Motta, RN and Pedro Carrascal - gave information on rehabilitation, counselling concepts for PwMS, investigation into cognition in MS, new media and counselling in M, evolution of MS nursing in Italy and a new European initiative based on professional family care of PwMS.
On day two 5 speakers - prof. Pierre Clavelou, prof. Ralf Gold, Amy Perrin Ross and prof. Thomas Henze - informed about old and new oral therapies in MS, risk management in MS, stem cells as considered therapy option for the future as well as the current role and potential developments for MS nurses in Europe and European rehabilitation recommendations in MS.

Gala Dinner on 27.05.2010 The Gala Dinner took place in a festive ambience. Built in 1885 in Renaissance style, the “Alte Stuttgarter Reithalle” was the perfect environment for the EMSP Gala Dinner with more than 190 guests. “Junge, Junge!” - the two passionate magicians Dr. med Gernot Bohnenberger and the architect Wolfram Bohnenberger – fascinated and amazed the audience with a great show. Laugh and astonishment practically bumped into one another. A most successful evening!
